Built so private details stay private.
Families should know exactly what stays hidden and when contact is shared. Legal detail lives in Privacy, Terms, and Rights.
Why details stay private at first
Many matrimony sites show photos and phone numbers widely. Nitchaya keeps phone and photo hidden until both families agree. That rule is protected in the database, not only on the screen, so a bug in the app cannot quietly reveal what should stay private.

Candidate approval & archive link
A profile stays draft until the candidate approves it from their own phone. Afterwards they keep a private link to archive the profile anytime (take it offline; family cannot put it back). That is required under DPDP, and it is part of the product promise to the person depicted.
How contact is shared
An interest is a request for an introduction, not a chat. After both families agree, contact details are shared with both sides at once. If either side withdraws, access is removed immediately. Paying for a membership never reveals someone's phone.
