Nitchaya is a consent-first matrimonial platform. We process personal data to operate profiles, interest exchange, and association features you choose to use.

What we collect

Account phone (stored hashed and encrypted), profile fields you enter, consents with purpose and version, notification outbox metadata, and moderation signals. Private fields (phone, email, exact address, income, family details) are protected by database access rules, not only by what the screen chooses to show.

Retention and erasure

Idle profiles may archive automatically after 60 days without activity. Accounts may be purged 12 months after last login. You may request erase; application data is removed within 30 days of a valid request. Unclaimed invite drafts expire after 60 days. After purge, residual copies may remain in encrypted database backups for up to 7 days.
